Author: the hot bite the past few weeks has been the striper bite around the towers. 6 to ten pounders have been caught, as lots of keeper size fish. But as always alot of small fish mixed in. fish live bait anywhere from 20 to 40 feet down. cut bait also working well.
For all you night owls out there, the catfish are biting great at night, but very scattered out from the hot weather. main lake points and humps fished with fresh cut bait is the right way to go. 20 to 30 feet is best. Alot of nice size white cats being caught, along with lots of nice size eating size cats. Fishing at night is a must, plus it’s 20 degrees cooler at night. Good luck everyone!!
